I am very excited to see that Sony is finally coming out with a large g-series lens but why in that crappy silver finish. Who are they marketing to?? Any serious buyer would most likely be the bird photographers ( you don’t see moms and dads paying 5-10,000 for a lens to shoot kids in the backyard) All the serious big lens photographer I know spend hundreds of dollars on those camo covers to hide the white lens, and now Sony comes out with something even brighter…wake up at Sony!……..another reason to take a second look at Canon.
